Speech/Language Delay

Speech and language delays can affect a child’s ability to express their needs, understand others, use words and sentences, and participate in everyday interactions. At Leap Ahead Therapy Services, we provide individualized support for children with speech and language delays through therapy that is engaging, practical, and tailored to each child’s needs.

Services may focus on improving speech clarity, building vocabulary, increasing sentence length, strengthening language comprehension, supporting early communication skills, and helping children use language more effectively during daily routines. Therapy may include play-based activities, routines-based intervention, structured practice, parent coaching, and strategies that can be carried over at home.

We work closely with families and caregivers to support communication growth in natural, meaningful ways. Our goal is to help children build the skills they need to express themselves, connect with others, and communicate with greater confidence across home, school, and community settings.
