Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, or related social communication differences, often benefit from therapy that is individualized, practical, and built around their everyday routines. At Leap Ahead Therapy Services, we support communication development by focusing on each child’s strengths, needs, interests, and family priorities.

Services may target early language development, functional communication, social interaction, play skills, speech clarity, understanding and using language, and pragmatic communication skills. Therapy may include evidence-based strategies such as visual supports, modeling, structured routines, play-based intervention, social stories, parent coaching, and natural opportunities for communication throughout the day.

We work closely with families and other professionals to create meaningful therapy plans that support communication at home, in the community, and during daily routines. Our goal is to help each child build confidence, express their wants and needs, connect with others, and participate more fully in the world around them.
